My weekend began with a trip to the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Malibu where I ordered a Red Eye. My favorite drink du jour is a cup of coffee with a shot of espresso. A Black Eye is a cup of coffee with two shots of espresso. Wow! Too much caffeine for me. Getting out of her SUV was Elizabeth Perkins, my celebrity sighting of the week. I had breakfast at the Brown Pelican which we often do in Santa Barbara. Then we went to Home Depot because I needed to do a little electrical work in Ben's house in Montecito (Santa Barbara).
