Heston Dies in Beverly Hills

I was actually in Beverly Hills with Efren yesterday when I learned that Charlton Heston had passed away in Beverly Hills. I met Charlton Heston in Seattle when I was in High School. I actually talked to him. He seemed like a nice enough guy. Definitely a Hollywood legend.

My New Eyeglasses

My doctor recommended recently that I get an eye exam and my sight had changed. These are my new eyeglasses. I can once again read up close! The first picture is way too serious!

Today I saw Linda Gray of Dallas fame. She was having coffee in a trendy Culver City restaurant/coffee bar named Akasha. She was chatting with a film writer. I was standing next to their table at the coffee bar adding sweetener to my coffee to go and eavesdropping.

Disneyland Between the Raindrops

I went to Disneyland today because the rain finally stopped for a few hours and it was a great place to get some exercise. The Happiest Place on Earth!

Now I'm getting out my umbrella for the next storm ready to hit Los Angeles tonight.

Suzanne Pleshette R.I.P.

Suzanne Pleshette died last night. My favorite memories of her are in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" and in the "Bob Newhart Show". The scene below is one of my favorite from "The Birds".

"Melanie", Tipi Hedren, the blonde, goes back into the school to warn "Annie", Susanne Plashette, of the coming bird plague.

Little Miss Sunshine

I think this is my favorite movie in the past 2 years. Maybe because of the VW bus that the family has to push (reminds me of the VW bug I had in LA when I first moved there and the family van in Seattle). Anyway, if you haven't seen it, it's a blast!
